Oakfield Hotel & Suites Rochester, NY - Ascend Hotel Collection

The Oakfield Hotel & Suites is a clean, safe, and quiet place to stay and I always choose it for my work trips to Rochester. The staff are professional and always provide friendly help when needed. It has a great location minutes from the city and has direct access to 590. Many restaurants are nearby. The Starbuck's across the street is a conveinient stop just before I head up the road to work. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall we had a great time at Oakfield! The hotel was immaculate, we enjoyed the 24/7 access to water and ice and coffee, tea, and snacks in the lobby. The rooms were small but clean and beds were comfortable.||A few things you should be aware of:|1. There is no elevator in the building so if you have movement challenges I would call ahead to be sure you’re booking a room on the first floor. The lack of elevator made it difficult even for us with a child and our heavy bags.|2. The website advertises a mini-fridge and it’s actually a mini-bar. The food we brought went bad because we didn’t have anywhere to put it because we worried if we took the drinks out we would be charged.|3. The sink is outside the bathroom in the room. We enjoyed this because we can brush teeth or dry hair etc while

The hotel was immaculate! The cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in in years for the price point: my only small issues were that there was no elevator which made it difficult with heavy luggage, and made me worry about people with wheelchairs or movement challenges if there wasn’t a room available on the first floor. It would be better if this was noted in the booking description! Also the website lists a mini fridge available when it’s really a mini bar. We had been planning on storing food in there for our trip which ended up going bad.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area! It is newly renovated and it shows. Rooms are immaculate (sheets and shower included) and the mini bar is fully stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the pillow. The gym was clean and the sunrise cafe was perfect. It’s a central location that allowed me to walk to Whole Foods, Sephora, Lululemon, and Crumbl. The hotel staff is amazing. 10/10 Recommend. Would absolutely stay here again and again.

First, the positives. This hotel is conveniently located just off 590 and across the street from Whole Foods. It is clean and the front desk staff is very good.|Unfortunately, this is really a BUDGET hotel $188/night!). |1. The rooms are small, bathrooms tiny. If you are a larger person, this will be quite unfortunate for you. |2. The light/fan combo in the bathroom is loud and annoying. Does not allow for a peaceful morning routine.|3. The light from the fridge is too bright and not conducive to a restful sleep.|4. The desk light is connected to the light switch at the door? Odd.|5. Road noise! This is not a quiet hotel.|6. Amenities-shampoo, soap, etc very low quality.|7. Heat/air unit loud as well.|In all, I would not recommend this hotel.
