Nob Hill Motor Inn

Great place! We stayed for two nights in a standard room with a double bed. The room was small, but it had everything you need: a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee machine. All the furniture was new and stylish, and the room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent — we left our car in their free parking lot for two days and were able to walk everywhere.

The location is excellent. Price is excellent. Free parking in San Francisco is amazing. The room is clean. The beds are average and the pillows are small. Water pressure is poor in the shower. But given those negatives, I would stay here again. I recommend the Nob Hill Motor Inn.

Great location with free parking. Area all around advised ‘Do not ‘ leave anything visible in cars. The day we arrived ( Monday ) apparently some cars had been broken into the previous night. The rooms were clean and spacious. Outside in the corridors etc could do with some attention but in the whole value for money in San Francisco.

We stayed at Nob Hill Motor Inn for a few nights in July 2025 and found it to be a budget-friendly option in San Francisco. The location is close to cafes and restaurants. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth. The room we stayed in was spacious and simply furnished, just as shown in the photos. It included a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, which was a plus. Although the room wasn’t sparkling clean, it was tidy and functional. The small window had an odd view: partial glimpse of the street though what seem to have been balconies of ours and 2 other hotel rooms, that now were simply blocked, so we mostly kept it closed. Great position enabling all the important tourist spots to be reached on foot. The room is huge and clean. The negatives: can be noisy and the flow of water from the sink tap is almost non- existent. The shower works fine though although not always the hottest water.
