Customer Reviews
Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great.Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience. We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.
Pros: Four perfectly puffy/firm pillows. Comfortable bed. Heater works well. Good shower pressure and glad they have eco-friendly bottles in the shower rather than small toiletries. Good towels as well. Very clean room (512).||Fitness room is decent enough but weights are weirdly connected to each other. ||Absolutely wonderful breakfast shop up the block on the corner. ||Cons: Lack of double-glazed windows (which is astonishing to me!) means ALL street noise is clearly heard in the room. Thankfully, I wear earplugs and take meds that make me sleep hard. My coworkers unfortunately didn’t sleep as well in their respective rooms. The WiFi worked well enough but was unstable at night sometimes which was really frustrating. ||The location is perfect for downtown and the proximity to the JP Morg
Upon check-in, we were assigned Room 101. Shortly after entering the room, we discovered black mold covering the entire window seal. This raised immediate health and safety concerns, prompting us to request a room change. We were then moved to Room 402; however, this room also showed clear signs of mold. Mold was present on the window seals as well as in the corner of the room along the walls. Additionally, we found a moisture absorber placed in the room, which further confirmed our concern that excess moisture and poor air quality are ongoing issues contributing to mold growth. Compounding these concerns, we found visible stains on the sheets in both rooms. As well as a random clump of hair, further demonstrating the uncleanliness of the room. This is unacceptable and does not meet bas
We enjoyed our stay at Nob Hill Hotel ||Staff were friendly. ||It’s old do not perfectly pristine, boutique type decor. ||Our penthouse room on floor six was spacious and clean with views of city. It was accessed by lovely outdoor terrace area with seating. The only down side was the bathroom window looked onto terrace, despite it being stained glass it needed a blind, we improvised with hand towels fixed to hangers. Because it’s next to terrace people are inquisitive and one time I was in bathroom with someone trying to peer in! ||The lift is old fashioned type and not suitable for children. ||Breakfast was fitting for cost, selection of help yourself toast, cereal, bagels, pastry. ||Coffee available self serve anytime. ||Only one t bag in room and when I asked for another, none available
Rooms and location were great but service was totally awful. I had surgery in SF and this hotel was so close to my doctor which was great and close to convenient stores. A few days after surgery I was checking out and had a friend coming to get me. I had asked the hotel staff if they could help me bring my luggage down from my room to make it easier for my friend to load in the car. They said they don’t provide this service. Like basic assistance with luggage isn’t a service they provide? I wasn’t asking them to pack everything up. I just need help bringing it down as I am not supposed to lift. So if you are needing any kind of physical assistance, they won’t help you. No one even lifted a finger to open a door for me and just sat at the lobby desk.
