NC Mountains Realty & Vacation Cabins

Great place to visit! Everyone at NC Mountains Realty are very friendly and helpful! My wife and I have stayed there 3 times with there properties! Steve was the best helping me get my enclosed trailer up and down the mountain! Going back next year! Booked another cabin with them !

We rented Majestic Overlook this past October and it was a PERFECT weekend in no small part to April, Kathleen and Steve and NC Mountains Realty and Vacation Cabins. We loved our cabin and our stay there!! The views were incredible (mountains forever and Fontana Lake and the great Smoky Mountain Railway and its trestle crossing the lake all in sight), the hot tub impeccable and such a treat to enjoy as the full moon rose each night up above the cabin. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The cabin was VERY clean and as someone immunocompromised from a recent battle with cancer, I really appreciated their additional Covid cleaning efforts. We stayed at All Decked Out in June and it was an incredible experience! This has to be the most beautiful property in the Smoky Mountains. It was well stocked and had everything we could possibly want or need. I highly recommend you wake up for sunrise if you stay there. The morning view is otherworldly! We are from Colorado and are very familiar with beautiful mountain scenery but this is special. I'm certain you could spend your entire trip at this cabin but there's also a lot to explore nearby. The location is perfectly tucked away on a quiet street but it's still very close to Bryson City, the Nantahala, Fontana, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Visited Watia View in March and it was absolutely beautiful! My 5 friends and I were well accommodated in regards to space and amenities. Between the view, the hot tub, and the fireplace NC Mountains Realty provides a luxury vacation from the cabin alone. Will recommend to all friends, family, and mountain lovers. Consumer beware with this company and the owner Kathleen. Do your homework. Find another rental company. We stayed at one of her rentals, On the Rocks, in July. We specifically rented from them because of their stated cleaning protocols and because of the homes stated distance to Bryson City. Neither of which were true. We walked into the home and the floors had not been cleaned. There were human hairs, hair balls, spill marks, empty popsicle wrappers and used band aids on the floors. Gross. Every item we pulled from the cabinets was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The grill caught fire twice because it was so dirty. We took pictures of everything and sent to Kathleen and wasted time during our vacation to discuss with her. She immediately said Steve was there that morning to inspe
