Nantahala RV Resort & Campground

It's remote, recently built, has a number of sites right on the creek. Bathhouse is quite nice, plenty of hot water. Convenient country store right outside the entrance. Just 15 minutes from Bryson City downtown. Very relaxing! Recommend!

We had a wonderful time, the campground was perfect. Bathhouse was super Clean, setting was peaceful and staff were friendly and welcoming. The general store is walking distance away. We had a group and stayed in group spot 1 it held 13 campers with no issues. And the babbling creek added to the experience.

Have stayed here before and was surprised by how much the cleanliness has deteriorated. The bathroom was really dirty with hair in every sink and on all the floor drains as well. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. It is 11 AM and they still have not been touched. The fire pit also had trash and cigarette butts in it. The location is very convenient to area activities and the creek is also beautiful but cleanliness really needs improvement. Thanks for your response! The bathroom looked MUCH a better when we returned to the campground later in the afternoon!

My friend and I stayed here while hiking in the Smokies (mid October) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our site was right by the creek and the sound was so relaxing, the campground was quiet and we felt very safe. The bath house was amazing. So clean and bright. You had to have a code to open the door so again, a feeling of safely. Location is awesome. 15 minutes or so to Bryson City. 100% would return to this campground.

Very quiet and peaceful, but not far from adventures and grocery stores. I ride, and the roads around here are fun to explore. I also hike, and there are plenty of trails nearby, a general store is walking distance from the Campsites and a church is right across the street if you want to start your Sunday there. NOC(Nantahala Outdoor Center is just over a mile away and has plenty to do. I will be back, hopefully soon. Oh yeah, the bathroom was cleaned regularly and the laundry room is too .
