My Place Hotel-Nashville/Lebanon, TN

The check-in process was easy the lady at the front desk last night told me they sold out and were busy, but when we got to the room it smelled really bad like wet dog and was musty. This morning while checking out I mentioned to the girl at the front desk how bad their rooms stink and recommended they try to clean that smell out she said “we still have 27 more people to check out and have been busy” does that mean you don’t clean the rooms or just don’t care about the smell? Having an allergy to dogs I would have left last night but all other hotels in the area were sold out to. after the unfortunate stay we had it makes sense as to why this was the last place available. My Place is Lebanon is an excellent place!! I had booked at another local hotel and it was awful so ran over to My Place with no previous knowledge of the chain and without reservations and they immediately booked me for my Mon-Fri stay. After a couple of days I decided to stay another day and they booked me in my same room without any issue. The hotel is absolutely wonderful, clean, quiet and efficient. The staff is understanding, caring and courteous no matter the hour of the day. I would highly recommend MY PLACE to any traveler.

Positive: Location Negative: Smelly room, sticky floors, non functioning iron, no breakfast, no ice maker, rude staff, I was locked out of the hotel and the staff answered the courtesy phone in the entrance the first time but then hung up. Then they started clicking the call off.

Assigned a room that was dirty, with an unmade bed and someone's dirty underwear left on the floor, plus a dirty bathroom! After reassignment, the second room appeared made up and cleaner, although it smelled musty. ||Beware- The description of a "fully equipped kitchen" is misleading. Apparently, this means appliances ONLY, at this hotel. There were no cups, plates, bowls, silverware, pots or anything else you'd expect to find in a "fully equipped kitchen" with a refrigerator, cooktop, and microwave. Upon asking at the front desk, we were given 2 paper plates, 2 disposable cups, and 2 packs of plastic wear (with knife and fork only). When purchasing cereal at the facility the next day, I asked for spoons, was offered plastic wear packets again with a suggestion to use the forks!!! I had

This place was clean, comfortable beds/pillows, clean, all hotels in the area where double the cost what this was. So definitely getting your moneys worth. Only thing was right at check out time they came to the door twice in like 3 min.
