Two blocks away from the Palmares Capoeira Angola sala - such a great location... Best tourist over night parking price - outside of Fort Mason HI - the Bay Area Rock N Roll history gallery on the first and second floor fascinates me every time in going to or from my pod room in the hostel portion. What a great, well thought out and inspiring display. The Editorials of each artist is very insightful. I think anyone coming to SF should stay here at least one night; I extended to three. The pods are well thought out, bathroom in the room is very pleasant, along with the esthetic in the room- two gold records on the wall--a table in the room, mnifridge, microwave I just really like this place, I'm definitely coming back When our bateria comes to play with the SF Palmares Capoeira Angol

You should be able to rest in a noisy enviroment if you want to stay here, but really covenient if you travel all day and just looking for a place to crash. Nice neighnourhood, convenient, easy access to everywhere.

Music City Hotel is a pretty decent hotel. They have dormitory-style cupsules for a reasonable price. |Location is good and staff is friendly.|Facilities are a bit limited, but it's OK for one or two nights.

Mattress is a 6-8 inch foam pad, thin and hard to get quality sleep on. There’s two bathrooms and showers per entire floor. You’re required to store your luggage in your pod under your mattress pad during the day. Some of the rooms are on a third floor walk up, no elevator. Outlets in pods were only usb, no regular AC outlets. Good things were that the rooms were pretty clean, had a sink, quiet hours were observed, and shampoo and towels were provided.

Loved this super fun, quirky, and affordable hotel/hostel. Stayed in a shared capsule bed room with family. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfy. Located fairly centrally, with easy access to all points SF, and some really great restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. As a hotel with performance and rehearsal spaces, make sure you know what you're in for! There was heavy bass pounding until about 12:30am on Saturday night. Sunday and Monday nights got quieter sooner. That said, you get free access to the live performances in the building, so make your way down and check out some local music while you're there. We loved this place and would recommend it to other adventurous travelers.
