Mountain Joy Cottages

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mt. Joy Cottages! We had a quiet cabin with views of the pond. We saw elk daily roaming the property and surrounding areas. Ducks are adorable and will greet you daily (bought mealworms and frozen peas to feed them). Highly recommend the Blue Ridge Parkway for amazing scenic views. Short drive to so many towns and attractions- we couldn't see everything we wanted before leaving. We look forward to returning here again🦌🦆🍂🍁 😊

Very clean beautiful rustic cabins with modern amenities. Highly recommend. They went under new owner ship this past year. So the new owners have just upgraded all the cottages. #lo

I took my five year old granddaughter for a quick get away to Mountain Joy and we LOVED it! From indoor swimming, to the conveniently located playground, hotdogs and s’mores on the campfire, catching lightening bugs and decorating the drive with chalk, plus more. The cottage was tidy and clean with all the necessary amenities, including private parking as well as a front porch & back deck. Plus I saw ELK walk right past me after dark! Very pleasant experience! We will be back! Thanks for the hospitality!

Absolute extraordinary experience. #10 cottage is tucked away nicely from the noise and other sites. Awesome views from the back porch of the pond and wildlife. We observed Elk every evening from our back porch grazing on the multiple apple trees on site. Cabin is in great condition and the jacuzzi works great. Only complaint is the internet at #10 is virtually non-existent due to signal issues. Verizon wireless also has low/no signal there. Overall this was a great get-away and well worth the money.
