New owner took over about two years ago, has accomplished some things since then but there’s so much more that needs taken care of. He has been faced with a lot - to turn this place around. I suggest a cleaner, and better service. Please note this place does not have breakfast no vending machine machines. there are dollar stores and several gas stations in walking distance. Owner has a ‘manager’ type individual handling payments - the guy seems to be learning and doing what I feel to be a very good job. Owner tells him different prices - not the guys fault , it’s the owners fault giving different pricing •Charges $10 extra per night if you have a little one with you :/ tells you there’s a 2% transaction fee but charges you %5 per transaction. Even a roach wouldn't stay here! I booked reservations through the member program TripRewards, after having viewed the hotel photos online. Since I was unable to arrive before the 6 PM cancellation limit,our group asked to see the rooms prior to checking in. It was not even worthy of the one star rating that is the lowest possible on this site. Room #1 of the two I had reserved was the only one we were able to enter, because they could not manage to code a key to open Room #2, which was on the upper floor, and in order to get there you had to risk the deck which is completely dry rotted and pulling away from the building. There are no illegal drugs or activities allowed at this location. The accommodations are futile at best. This a property with an unfortunate past. The current management is trying to revitalize.

The rooms r clean the showers do work it is a place to come for relax and chill.the management is nice and great.
