Knights Inn Elyria

Booked two rooms for work trip. Place was very unclean. Stains all over sheets and pillows. Burn holes in comforters, stains in sink and tub. Carpet was dirty was a non smoking room yet whole place smelled of smoke. . Front desk lady was very kind and understood. But staff was informed and did not change the sheets or anything. We walked in our rooms and realized just how dirty and unclean it was and asked for a refund. Owner refused to issue any refund and we were forced to stay somewhere else. 0/0 would not recommend staying here under any situation. Went to another hotel in town and said not surprised, we never hear anything good about that place.

Room had a coffee maker but no complimentary coffee. I found a nice sized dead roach in the nightstand drawer. There was a big hole in the wall. The sheet had a huge blood stain. The room had an old big TV no flat screen. There were people sitting in a van in front of our room. This is a nice size property with a lot of rooms 90% of them were vacant parking lot was empty. But at about 10 o'clock p.m. they put a bunch people in the room next door to us they were loud coughing a lot I imagine because they were smoking marijuana. It was a big party . I've stayed in worse. I would recommend this hotel to someone that doesn't want to pay a lot you get what you pay for

Wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve ever walked into, However when I asked for maid service the next morning I got it. The maid ( Elizabeth) came and spent some time cleaning the room as it should have been. That was awesome and made the rest of my stay here a lot more comfortable. Didn’t see any roaches or bedbugs so that’s a big plus for a cheap motel.

I have never been in such a dirty room. We arrived after midnight and fell into bed. When we got up, we tried to take a shower, but the shower would not drain and the whole tub filled with water. We could only flush the toilet once because it took hours for the tank to refill. The room was disgusting. There was food or god knows what on the walls. There was so much dust hanging off the lampshades and there was a very happy spider living behind the toilet. The woman at the reception said she could have put us in the handicapped room if we had said something the night before. I am sure the handicapped room was much better.

Its a cheap way to rent a room if your not from the area...or in my case i dont have credit to rent an apartment so this was an option for me...the rooms are big and spacious.. And not a bad weekly rate...considering my circumstances. ..the owner said he is doing repairs on the place so its not in very great condition...but if you need a place In a hurry this would be ideal spot for you its next to the highway and turnpike and several gas stations are in the area...just make the upgrade it so desperately needs...i am enjoying my stay here...very polite service from the lobby...room 217
