I arrived after booking through a very reputable website to find out the property had cancelled my reservation, the person on the front desk wasn't rude but clearly didn't care and while they found another property for me to stay in, it was too.far from Union Square where I need to be for work. I am not a demanding traveler, and when making the reservation I knew the area in SF wasn't the best, but the property looked nice inside. It was not like that. The lobby was dirty, and I got to talk to another guest who told me his room was dirty with dog hair everywhere and paw prints on the bed. His heating didn't work and the window didn't close/open properly. This is one, if not the worst experience I have had at a hotel.

The hotel is situated in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district, a central area known for its vibrant character but also facing ongoing challenges related to homelessness and public health. Guests may encounter street conditions that can be intense, including noticeable odors, visible social issues and very noise environment. There are people scream on the street on and off even during mid-night

Booked this Motel 6 based on photo and reviews online. The photo is not a recent picture of the hotel or the neighborhood, falsely misleading. Motel is in a very unsafe area of San Francisco. Homeless people hanging out on the streets, camping there, lots of street people wandering around, garbage in the streets. No way did we feel safe to even get out of our car. We had to find another hotel at a much higher cost

Woof. For what you're paying, this place is exactly what you'll end up with. Military issue towels and soap, cleaned, disinfected rooms with the disinfectant still pooling, and modestly quiet rooms. On the flip side, walk out the door and you're into the post-apocalyptic world of San Francisco's tenderloin.

The room was clean, nice and updated. Im very picky where I stay. On the bad side I guess its a pet friendly motel. I love pets but the neighboring rooms had pets and pets barked at all hours of the night and morning. You could hear the neigbors snors, walls are thin. Door slams and elevators it was just loud and I couldnt rest at night. There was a trailer parked out on the street that had a generator that was loud and ran most of the night. I took a video of the barks. I guess we cant upload videos. The area does have homeless but if you mind your business when you walk by they dont mess with you. There is a bus stop right in front and thats how we would get around or uber. Thats another plus. There is no ac in the room either. Hope this review helps.
