Motel 6 Portsmouth, VA

Beware, this is a shady hotel and allows people to con others into helping them pay for a night. I helped a lady pay for 2 nights because she was getting thrown out. Supposedly with her 3 grandsons. The hotel clerk knew her and didn’t warn me as he just wanted the money. Silence is not golden it’s complicit. I have no doubt she’s out conning others as well. I would be surprised if there weren’t more people there doing the same thing.

Usually, the remote doesn't control BOTH volume ,channel and POWER you would have to get up and cut the TV off.... I must say this was ACTUALLY ONE OF THE BEST STAYS SO FAR!!

staff is EXCELLENT 👌! Housekeepers is always on the ball, definitely a sweetheart! I got the extended stay and been here for awhile. Never had an issue with this hotel. I also lived here 13 yrs ago as well, and the experience that I had then, is what made me come back,and its even better this time! My room had clean towels,Clean linen, freshly mopped,Kitchen was outstanding, just everything was VERY CLEAN💪🏼. I also recommend this hotel to people,as well! Ive stayed at the other hotels around here and also lived at the super 8 next door, i left there and came here (13yrs ago). A BIG THANK YOU to the staff for EVERYTHING THAT YALL DO! ITS MUCH APPRECIATED 😊...KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB! 💯👍🏼💪🏼

Do not go very rude rented me a room i paid for and booked online that was extremely stinky like old sweat tv did not work had a crack down center of it. The staff told me its not broke mam then proceeded to explain after why I was there for 2+hours waiting for so called maintenance man give me excuse after excuse as to why another room wasn't clean for me to use. Finally he said what would you like I said refund he rudely said fine. Do not stay cheap or not.

Positive: "" Negative: This was a trap house version but a hotel. have to climb over pot heads on stairs to get to your room. Hotel need to throw out all contents in room paint and mop, then air out before renting out room. Did nt feel safe.Your putting people lives in danger
