Motel 6 Hickory, NC

We stayed two nights we were really suprised how clean the hotel was it looked just like the pictures. But the heat no matter how much i messed with ir was overwhelming, not to mention when we checked in it was freezing in the room and took about 4 hours to warm up. The service could be better the night check in was great the old man was great. The guy during the day though not so much we asked for 2 extra towels because there was 4 of us and he was not pleased. And i need to bring it up there was a man right outside our room on really bad drugs we could not even exit our vehicle because we were unsure what he was on, the office guy came our and instead of calling 911 and getting the man help and making customers safer he just told the guy to go to the other side. 0/10 HORRIBLE SERVICE! the man who runs the front desk needs to be FIRED. i booked a room on behalf of my homeless relative who is mentally disabled. i accidentally booked the room under my name. he was very rude and talked over me the entire time on the phone ( i don’t live nearby so i couldn’t be there in person). i let him know i had the confirmation # and pin #, he didn’t give a damn and was RUDE. he told me to modify reservations through booking, so that’s what i was in the process of doing. while still on the phone with my relative, she went outside to get her charger… he followed her to the door and locked the door in her face and told her to have a good night. the room was non refundable and he knew that. he knew we were actively editing the reservation so she could still stay ther

Quiet and comfortable. My stay here was very nice! So many improvements have been made to this hotel. I love the new showers and really soft beds. The room is very cozy too. TV has a lot of options too.

I do not recommend front desk was exceptionally rude and treated me like I was of a lesser class. And I booked on the studio side and they took it upon themselves to switch to the motel 6 side. I was an hour and half away from home and I wanted to extend by 1 night they told me to not make a reservation so I went inside they tried to charge me $25 more then what I booked it for so I extended it online, that did not settle well they made clear moments like I told you not to reserve. Like I'm a child and how ng to let someone bully me into taking my money. FO NOT RECCOMEND. Shower wasn't even hot it was warm at best. And no coffee pot in room.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Poop stains on tge sheets which weren't "hanged from the previous occupants. Service desk vacant most of the time. TV didn't have any working channels . The only thing worthwhile was the steak house with in walking distance great food .
