Motel 6 Hayward, Ca – Silicon Valley Gateway

I love it here. Less expensive to take transit into the city and, my dog and bunny are welcome for no extra fees. Further, the a/c is great and the hotel is fairly quiet, I was able to get good rest. The friendly desk staff are the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this location. I have a Roku TV!! The WiFi is excellent for working. Also, plenty of places to eat and get services within walking distance. Great location!

I was visiting a friend, I went into the office/community cafeteria; as I set my things down the GM (Sanjeet -*spelling*) almost immediately told me that I had to leave and that I was no longer welcome on the property and if I didn't leave she would call the police and have me arrested for trespassing. As you could imagine- I was pretty dumbfounded by this. I asked her what her reasoning for this was? She told me that when I rented a room here (last year) I left the room in such a mess and damages to where they were forced to throw the things away. I informed her that this was false and I never caused damages to the room. If that were the case, why wasn't I charged? She became loud and angry instructing her team to call the police. I stayed here not too long ago with my boyfriend just trying to get away for 2 days. In the 2 days that we were there I noticed the housekeepers are lazy, specifically Veena the laundry attendant. Her attitude is so disgusting, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and they told me they didn’t have any at the moment and to come later so I went to the employee laundry and asked politely for some towels so I can go ahead and get ready. I was then yelled at by Veena and told she doesn’t have towels even though I could visibly see them. I went to complain to the manager, Dev who had been helping a “palm colored” lady at the time and he seemed to be in a great mood at first. One way in and one way out. Totally unnecessary, and a waste of time. The exit has been closed off for whatever lame reason , so a major no go for this dump. I dislike being inconvenienced over some stupid reason like the owner doesn't like Mc Donald's customers in its parking lot. To close of an exit is too far to go. Plus this brand is too high a price for the quality of rooms. Go elsewhere.

The first room we check in , the room was horrible. When I saw the room I said is this a joke? The room was bad. There's hair on the bed, there's stains the bathroom was filthy. I have to ask for another room because there is no way me and my family is sleeping in that kind of room. They gave me a second room the room is a little bit decent but the blanket has a burned from either cigarettes there's stain on the sheets, pillowcase. It was horrible. This is not the same motel 6 back then where it was clean and decent.
