Motel 6 Georgetown, SC - Marina

WARNING! DON'T STAY HERE! I usually don't rant...but this is necessary as this location should be shutdown/torndown due to a multitude of health and safety regulations! Good location for visiting Georgetown, SC. That's where anything good about this place ends. This has literally been the worst place I've ever stayed. Let's start with they claim to have handicap accessible rooms... LIE! bed is way too high. Barely space for wheelchair, and shower is not full-handicap accessible. I was greeted by staff in dirty clothes that walk around the facility barefoot. 1st room I was assigned 115: looked like someone poorly tried to cover up a crime. Massive stains on sheets, bed cover, pillow, and duvet. See pics. 2nd room 116: looks like someone had a nose bleed on the pillow and they just use

Positive: It was not clean and I didn’t feel safe. Negative: The hotel staff was a little strange and the lights were off in the lobby when I checked in around 8 pm. It was not a friendly approachable place by any means

ADA ROOM beds are 4ft high how do thy expected handicapped person to get up there. Room are extremely in need of deep cleaning. I've stayed at this location when it was the Baymont and first became Motel 6. Before and it was alright. It has completely fallen to crap

Do not stay here the rooms are absolutely filthy and infested with roaches and not just one room. We were switched between three to check for cleanliness in between the roaches the mold the dirty sheets and dirty towels this place is absolutely disgusting. And if you have an issue at all … if you need a managers help don’t think you will have any luck getting it resolve! For instance it would be nice if you could ever reach a manager but it doesn’t matter what time of day you call you’ll never get them and they’ll never call you back! considering it’s been almost a month I’ve reached out to them multiple times about a refund for a dirty room that was NEVER stayed in (because it was so filthy) but the manager is never then was told by an employee “it would be near impossible to reach a mana
