Minna Express

Minna Express are apartments now. Do not try to book as a hotel. The Minna Hotel next door is CLOSED indefinitely. Do not waste your time. Unless you need an apartment.

The hotel was very nice inside, set up like an apartment building almost. The neighborhood on the other hand was a little more than sketchy. Pretty sure there was a gunfight I'm the general area one night. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay it may be worth the drive to find someplace outside of the city itself.

Pretty typical hostel style hotel. Tiny rooms with limited amenities, but the group bathroom and showers were actually quite clean. Not too noisy. VERY basic cold breakfast, dont expect eggs and bacon.

Stay away from this hotel. I booked based on the star rating which is obviously fraudulent. I booked through hotwire and lasted all of 5 minutes. The neighborhood is so unsafe. Drug dealers out in the open, prostitutes and countless homeless people. Wish I had read the reviews first. Still was $175 a night for this dump. Thanks hotwire for refunding me.

Location is dangerous, dirty, and there are alot of homeless people right outside the hotel. The room was also dirty, and the shower only had one door! One!?
