Mid-Town Motel

The Mid-Town is what it advertises—an old motel. It delivers basic accommodations for a budget price. It’s clean but not immaculate. Stayed 2 nights in #11. Small room, small bathroom. King bed, comfortable enough but the mattress has two body depressions; it ought to be replaced next season. Heat (which is also an AC) worked well. Wood desk/chest with a chair & bench. Second chair-wood frame with cushions. Bathroom has a small shower stall; water temp & pressure good. No issues with drain. Shower curtain was stained & mildewed on the bottom. We asked for a replacement & a new one was put up. The manager apologized at checkout. Good parking is a plus as is the location—just a few minutes walk from shops & restaurants. Location was excellent right in town. Room was comfortable and clean. Charming 1950’s knotty pine vibe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

5 of 5 stars! A super cute hotel. Great location only 1 block from town and walkable to everything. The bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed the 1950s nostalgia. No frills and good pricing. We really enjoyed our stay!

The positives for this motel are:|1. The location is ideal. It is close to the main part of town and easily walkable.||2. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean.| |3. The towels were soft and thick.||The negatives were:|1. The bathroom is super tiny and the shower is old and very shabby. With mildew stains all along the bottom edge where the walls meet the shower pan. The hot and cold faucets do not operate easily and the cold was difficult to turn off.|2. There is no space to put toiletries or tooth brush etc. ||The bathroom needs to be remodeled.||3. The carpet in the unit is dirty and stained.

Despite its convenient location, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, ensuring a restful stay. What stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt welcome throughout my stay.
