Captain Sawyer's Bed and Breakfast

Loved my stay at Captain Sawyer's. The innkeepers Ceire & Keith were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was really casual and delicious, it felt like you were staying with friends coming down for breakfast. I got some nice local knowledge of things to do that were not so touristy but still showed great features of the local area and vibe. Probably the best location in Boothbay Harbor overlooking the harbor and really close to everything in town. Great fun staying here!

A real home away from home! The hosts, a young couple (with a 2 year old), are friendly and knowledgeable, with great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. We stayed in the Heritage room, upstairs with a shared balcony. Spacious with a very comfortable bed. Location is perfect! Within walking distance of downtown restaurants, stores,and the boat piers. Cannot recommend more strongly

We have been coming to Boothbay Harbor for many years and this is the first time we stayed at Capt. Sawyer's. We booked the large room on the second floor which had a King size bed and a fabulous view of the harbor from our balcony. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and while we were strangers when we arrived, we left as friend's, hopefully to return again next year. The couple who run it are just really nice and very accommodating. Breakfast is served in a lovely room off the kitchen. Everything was delicious and an excellent chance to meet the other guests and chat. Our room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy and everything was clean and neat. This was the highlight of our trip to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Ciera and Keith made it extra special for us the whole time we were there. The Inn itself is in a great location right on the main street with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The Breakfasts and cookies were delicious. We loved staying in this lovely home! Ceirie and Keith were the perfect hosts…providing all that we needed without being obtrusive. Breakfast both days was delicious and we enjoyed visiting with others staying at the B&B. This location is just steps away from the shops, restaurants, and harbor but was not loud at all. We especially enjoyed having a relaxing glass of wine and a cup of coffee on the veranda each day. Highly recommend!
