Blue Heron Seaside Inn

Room was beautiful, open, very spacious and clean. It was very inviting and comfortable. From the side window to the windows off the deck was a full view of the harbor. The bathroom is big, clean and fully supplied with towels etc. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good sized closet. Kayaks available to guests. Room opens into a large deck with a breathtaking view of the harbor. Sitting on the deck and watching the night lights in the bay and the lights on the bridge was the best part of the trip. Great view, very romantic. Great parking and very close to everything. Owner was very helpful, warm, and welcoming.

I can’t imagine that there is a better place to stay in BBH. This was our second stay at the Blue Heron and the experience was PERFECT both times. Our first visit was 12 years ago and we always wanted to come back. The rooms are nicely appointed and CLEAN. Comfortable. Great off street parking. Convenient to the downtown area. As good as it gets. We hope to come back.

Our very recent 3 night stay at Blue Heron Seaside Inn was perfect in every respect. The room we booked (No. 3) was large, well furnished, spotlessly clean and had a wonderful view of the harbor and footbridge. The freshly baked breakfast muffins and breads were delicious and came with juice and fresh coffee. The Inn is just a couple of blocks from all the “action” of the harbor, yer it was quiet and peaceful at all times. Most of all, Laura and Phil were gracious and wonderful hosts.

Our stay at the Blue Heron was everything I had hoped and more. The location is perfect for walking the Boothbay area and within reasonable driving distance of many other sites of interest. The room was well appointed, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Carol, our hostess, treated us like royalty. She prepared delicious meals every morning to help us start our day. I will certainly chose this property if I ever visit Maine again.

Our first trip to Maine was great. When we pulled into the Blue Heron Inn, I knew we had found something special. Carol, our hostess, was so delightful, and full of information about Boothbay Harbor. She suggested we eat at The Thistle Inn restaurant, which was fantastic. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary, and had the perfect evening. Our balcony view of Boothbay Harbor was spectacular, and we were able to sit out in the evening watch the tide roll in. Carol made us great breakfasts, and also gave suggestions for sightseeing. We followed up on her suggestion for a seal-watching trip with Cap'n Fish on Pier 7 and had the best time! Thank you for a wonderful room, a wonderful time, and great memories!
