Topside Inn

We loved the lemon ricotta and blueberry pancakes during our stay, the complimentary drink from the bar, and the Lather products in the room. I used the lavender lime lotion every night and morning. Literally everything was so special and detailed! Plus, we had the best view from our room of sunrise and sunset on the harbor. Topside really is "Above it All", so much so, that we met two couples at breakfast who have visited every year for the last 11 and 13 years! You know you’ve found a good place when loyalties run that deep. We will be back!

Lovely inn located on a hill overlooking the harbor. The view from our room or anywhere on the property is spectacular. Everyone at the Inn is super accommodating in helping you to enjoy your stay. Our room had a nice balcony with a small built-in seating area where we were able to relax with friends and have a night cap. The breakfast daily was very good, with different offerings, and there is a kitchen area for guests with non alcoholic drinks and snacks. There is also a small bar with service. Perfect time to visit and see the fall foliage and within walking distance to town. If I'm back in this area, I would definitely stay here again.

Really nice stay! This is probably the best located hotel in Boothbay Harbor for views and is a short downhill walk to restaurants/shops. The breakfast was great, with both a hot dish of the day and also many continental (but elevated) offerings. We also enjoyed the bar for having a drink before heading out for dinner. We stayed for 3 nights, and felt that was the right amount of time to see the area and also enjoy some relaxation.

If you would like a friendly experience, then book Topside. Entire staff will do anything to make your stay memorable. Every room is perfect and well appointed. Clean, comfortable and quiet. They are the Perfect place to stay in Boothbay. Don’t let me convince you, go stay and you will love it as much as my wife and I did. Did I mention the perfect Breakfast ? Well go try this as well

The experience at Topside Inn started back when we booked our reservation. Rebekah was very helpful in selecting a room. Arrival was awesome - like we just arrived where someone was delighted to see us. Rebekah helped with our luggage and suggestion for dinner. The breakfasts every morning were beyond wonderful. I’ve never had such consistently spectacular, creative breakfasts. The setting is wonderful. We hope hope hope we can return!
