My husband and I were on a motorcycle anniversary trip, and we arrived in Boothbay with no reservations or any idea where to go. One phone call later and we landed in this magical place. I hesitate to sing its glory, selfishly, so that I can book a room there next time - but it was so majestic I cannot keep it to myself. |Kathryn was an exceptional host. Truly above and beyond. She was kind, caring, fantastic information shared and truly made the ending of our trip magical. |This lovely spot is right on the bay, we enjoyed sitting in the back yard and watching the yachts come in and looking up who owned them. This is the perfect place to stay in Boothbay Harbor. Kathryn and Peter are amazing hosts who are friendly and informative but then give you the space you need to yourself. We stayed on the 3rd floor, which had a lot of steps but worth the climb with the room and view. The room spanned the entire depth of the house giving it enough space for a master on suite, an anti-room for clothes and primping, and a sitting room. There is a door to separate the front from the back that adds more privacy. The sitting area has a trundle day bed for additional sleeping room, a microwave and small refrigerator. The house sits at the end of the harbor and gives the perfect view looking all the way down the harbor that you can't get from any other place in town. The room has a window seat complete with bino

The inn is a beautiful house furnished with lovely antiques with an awesome view of the harbor from the deck. The owners, Kathryn and Peter, are very welcoming and also knowledgeable about the area. The homemade breakfasts are healthy and delicious.|The inn is located just a short walk from the footbridge across the harbor that leads to shops and restaurants.

We traveled from Washington State to Maine for the first time to experience the coast on the other side. We stayed at the Bayside Inn B&B for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. Kathryn and Pete were the most accommodating hosts. Their home built in 1880 was absolutely beautiful. The view looking out at the harbor was stunning. And last but not least, the breakfasts were delicious and ample enough to last you till dinner.

Kathryn was an amazing host and fabulous cook! We were able to eat breakfast outside while watching the anhingas dive for their own breakfast in the harbor. The beds were comfy and the showers and accommodations all clean and welcoming. This is a must stay if you visit Boothbay, ME!
