Med City Inn & Suites

This hotel was horrible. The halls and room had a horrible mildew/mold smell with airfreshers trying to mask the smell. The wall had cracks in it, the towels were stained yellow, the whirlpool tub in the room, the elevator had strong Marijuana smells. Not to mention I heard people arguing in a room from the hallway as I went to my room. Given all of this I left and did not stay the night. I walked into room and experienced all of these things and walked back to desk to report and request money back as I did not touch anything and was there all of 5 minutes. I was told that my charges were only a hold and be released in 5-7 days.. I did get charrge 154 dollars for nothing. Had issues with the TV, think it was the former guest screwing around. Then our room keys didn't work, was a pain. Otherwise the stay was ok. Pool area nice.

This is a comfortable stay that is close to the hospital. The rooms are cleanly, and the continental breakfast adds to the stay. Although, there could be more diverse options offered. They used to offer things like oatmeal, which worked well for me post op after a jaw surgery. They still offer plenty of options to fill up on though. The scrambled eggs aren't that chewy, and are nice and fluffy. They are located conveniently close to a place to refuel and a delicious restaurant I like to dine at called Jersey Jo's. Although, they do offer 10% off food at Famous Dave's, which is connected to their hotel. There is a creek around the back of the hotel making it a bit picturesque, and they are pet friendly for a fee.

Positive: The bathrooms looked new and clean Negative: Needs lots of refreshes -especially the carpet. Our room and it was already occupied. Had to get a different room & the front desk staff switched out the wrong room so when I went to check out, it said I was still in the room occupied with other people.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were great. We stayed there for a corporate event and found the complementary breakfast rather good. Would stay here again.
