Meco Hotels

Meco stands out as having true "capsule" like spaces that are a step up from traditional hostels. The pods are the only ones I choose to stay in, and they feature beds that automatically sit up for reading, lights, and curtains for privacy. Amenities are modern, clean, and efficient. Location is great as the TD Garden stadium and T line (Green) is right across the street, with lots of shops (7-Eleven, CVS, Star Market) within 1 block. There is ample underbed storage, featuring a rolling tray that is as big as the twin bed, and you can lock your personal items with a lock (free from the front desk if you ask). This is probably as close as we'll get to "capsule" or "pod" hotels in the USA and highly recommended over traditional hostel hotels, which are just bunk beds.

I stayed in female dormitory. Overall I love it. It was clean & just what I needed, a safe place to sleep. ||They only opened a few weeks ago & are working through some kinks but they are very accommodating. ||Upon check in- they do ask for a selfie picture on their iPad for security reasons. No one is allowed in without a reservation. ||My dormitory had pods & bunks. I stayed on a lower bunk. There is storage for luggage under each pod/bunk. Inside your sleeping area, you have controls for a fan, light, & bed incline (my incline didn’t work but I was too tired to care). You have an outlet with USB port to charge devices. There is also a shelf & wall net organizer for your things. Every bed had an adjustable privacy blind, pillow, mattress sheet & blanket. ||On my floor, there were 4 bath

Decent pod style accommodation with your own personal bathroom space when you get into the bathroom. Nothing to really worry or nag on about. I would stay here again if the need arises

I first stayed at MECO Hotel in the summer of 2024, when I decided to explore the East Coast for the first time. Back then, I told myself that if I ever came back to Boston, this would be the place I’d return to, and I actually did! Coming back here felt familiar and comforting. The staff still have the same warm, polite, and welcoming attitude, and everything about the place remains just as I remembered, super clean, well-organized, and beautifully designed. There’s a special sense of harmony in the design, modern yet cozy, simple yet full of character. Even though it’s technically a hostel, it honestly feels more like a boutique hotel. We stayed at the Meco Hotel with three friends in a private room in October 2025 and we loved everything about it. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotless, and you could tell they really care about every detail, with beautiful art on the walls and a friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect, only one block from the train station, which made it easy for us to go to Salem and other nearby places. It is also very close to the arena (just in front of it) where games take place, and just a short walk from downtown. There are many restaurants, cafes, and 24-hour shops right around the corner. Our room was quiet, private, and very comfortable. We had our own bathroom. I found the bed super comfy and love to have my own space. On t
