MainStay Suites North - Central York

Terrible sewer smell in the area. Pointed out the light in the kitchen did not work. Lady said she would send someone to fix. No one came. Tried calling the desk by pushing the O button since there was no Front Desk button. Rang forever a few different times over a couple of days; no answer. Went to the front desk several times and no one was there. The remote's guide did not work so we had to surf the channels, and most did not have information. Tried to find CBS. Finally, I did talk with a man at the desk; he did not know what channel CBS was on; he said he would find out and call us in room 201. Never heard from him. No hot water for tea or hot chocolate and no one around to report it including the front desk. Sausage and eggs were gone, bacon undercooked; no one to ask to replenish or

It was dirty. Dirty sheets. Telephone did not work. TV did not work. So disappointed. I will say the gentlemen at the front desk was very nice. We had an issue with room above us being very loud woke us up. He handled and was very nice.

We stayed here for just over a month while we did a major home renovation, and honestly we couldn't be more pleased with our stay! 2 adults, 1 autistic child in a 2 queen suite with sofa bed, with a small kitchen and we were very comfortable. We're used to Orlando condos on vacation, or on property at Disney and Universal and the staff here, namely Fran in housekeeping, and the absolute treasure Victoria at the front desk were amazing. Fran showed up around 7pm one evening after a very long busy weekend, and she cleaned thoroughly, efficiently, and so sweetly she even tucked our son into bed with the sweetness of a family member! This hotel is nearly spotless, it's rare anytime of the day or night to leave your room and NOT find someone cleaning something! They steam clean the carpets regu

Hotel was very nice and clean. Beds were comfy, rooms are big and spacious. We had a kitchen that was stocked with utensils and pots/pans. Would stay again.

I think this place is great if you plan to stay for a few weeks. It has plenty of parking and is located in a very good spot. The manager is very friendly, and Victoria, the receptionist, is also very friendly. It's a pleasure to arrive at places like this. I recommend it 100%.
