Wyndham Garden York

The hotel is dated. It has a weird smell. You smell a hint of funk thats trying toi be masked by a room spray. The rooms are not that clean. Our sheets were dirty from the people who stayed in there prior to us. 2 huge stains on 2 sheets. The sheets were NEVER switched out before we checked in. We had to get someone to bring us sheets for the beds. The toilet wasn’t cleaned either, it had small pieces of poop at the bottom. The blow dryer was so old and gross. It had hair and dust stuck to it. The staff was friendly though.

My family always goes here and I’m always so pleased with everything. The people are nice the breakfast is amazing especially for someone who is too lazy to cook at home. But everything there is really nice but one thing I don’t like is the air conditioning it makes the bed to cold when I get to my room and it’s really hard to sleep at night but otherwise it’s good.

Very nice stay. We stayed here for a volleyball tournament. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was a little nervous from reading recent reviews about a pool closure and outdated rooms. That was not the case. Our room was very updated and the pool was open. The lobby was very inviting to hang out in. As busy as the hotel was, the noise was kept to a minimum. I was a bit disappointed they advertised complimentary breakfast but was informed by the front desk they no longer provide that. They do have a keurig in your room with limited coffee pods. They also have a nice restaurant on site, which does serve breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to leave every morning before they open at 7 am. We loved the pool and pool bar! Dylan ( the bartender) made our Saturday! He was so much fun to hang

Rooms could use upgrading And repairs but otherwise tolerable. Location was great and service wonderful! Brkfst platters good selection and we had bacon! Also nice outdoor/indoor seating to relax besides the room

Positive: The pool area was amazing. Showers in the room were nice. Comfy king bed. Negative: Breakfast was not very appealing. The eggs were bland and turkey sausage or bacon would've been a good option instead of just bacon.
