Hampton Inn York

We had a group of about 30 rooms booked for a wedding. This place was recently renovated and was perfect. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and well laid out, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The included breakfast was way more than we expected. Even for those of us running a little late in the morning, the staff made sure everyone was fed. Highly recommend staying here.

This is my first negative review for a Hampton EVER. Note, Hampton has always been my first choice for hotels as they have always had very consistent quality. NOT so this time. The York location is challenged by a very poor day manager. First name was Deb, with Red hair. Somehow I booked through a 3rd party to check in one day early. Knowing how great Hampton is and them always living up to a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee I decided to work with the hotel on why I was charged such a high rate. Red Haired Deb could not wait to tell me why Hampton had zero control of The 3rd parties they rely on and that they bear no responsibility. She could hardly wait for me to explain the situation before she came back disbelieving that any calls and emails looked liked like they origina

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, good variety and clean tables. Miss TAMAR does a great job keeping the kitchen and the dinner room impeccable for guests. Always with a big smile.

Kind, efficient employees, and the rooms are clean... However, the rooms are also awkward, the TV is very difficult to use an alternative input with, and there is no option for an app based key. Also, they have extortionate pricing for previously complimentary services (late check out, etc...). I wasn't even planning on using any, but it's still a massive turnoff to see. It feels like walking through a gauntlet of aggressive hawkers. Thank you for trying, staff, but I will not be staying here again.
