Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jacksonville

It was a good stay. The staff was also very friendly, and always greeted me with a smile. My room was okay; there was an odor, but I didn't want to change my room. So I was given a freshener, which helped a little. There were a few ladybugs alongside my window. They were harmless, but it was strange to see them.

The hotel has a-good rating on TripAdvisor and I will support that. Very service-minded staff, the hotel is clean- and seems to be well maintained. AC and internet all good. Recreation area with pool is clean and well looked after. Rooms are small to medium size all fine. |Should have been a safe in each room. Breakfast is not what what we are used to in Europe, such as life. No worries.|I have stayed at other Hotels in Jacksonville, they have been far less service-minded and forthcoming. Note the rooms are cleaned every second day. Compared to upstate prices, this is a budget friendly hotel.

We stayed this past weekend to visit family. The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly, from Jai at reception to the breakfast ladies to the cleaners. Even the guy emptying the trash outside was friendly and happy with a big "Hello." Whoever is running this hotel is doing a great job hiring, motivating and leading this team. I don't think I have stayed at a friendlier hotel. The hotel and rooms were super clean and it is convenient to lots of places. Comfortable beds and updated bathrooms and decor.

Positive: Thanks to hotel employee at the Hotel they were able to help me adjust the day's on my stay due to a change in my itinerary. This is the second time I have stayed here and there's no other place in Jacksonville, NC that I will ever stay. Thank you Negative: The only thing is the water pressure in the showers, but it's always been like that. Maybe someday that can get fixed. :)

Rooms are clean, good hot and cold breakfast. My only complaint would be unlike most other Marriott hotels you can’t watch Netflix. Hey you can’t have it all. Any restaurant and shopping is right by the hotel.
