Lexington Expo Hotel by IHG

My dad stayed at this place and it was old, run down and the shower didn’t even work. My dad was trying to leave in the morning and the shower head didn’t work, sink in bathroom was backed up so clearly they either didn’t clean well or cleaned, noticed the issues and maintenance didn’t do anything about it. When you pay for a hotel room, you expect at a minimum, comfortable beds and showers and bathrooms in good working order. None of that happened. Beware, we won’t be staying there again and I was very disappointed being a valued IHG member, this is definitely not a good reflection of the brand.

The staff was super friendly. Rooms very clean and fresh.

It was better than many places we've stayed in the last couple of years. Reasonably clean. Close to restaurants. They offered breakfast until 10, which was nice.

This is such a sad review I’m about to say, but the hotel is old and run down, they are currently renovating it. The current floor they had us on was old, and musty. Dust debris everywhere. I don’t think for the price it was worth it. The positive is that it’s near restaurants. I don’t think they should put customers on the same floor they are renovating.
