Place was ok. Even being only person there the main road is 15 feet from room so it's a constant distraction overnight. Cable selection was good. Gotta drive to Waynesville to eat. Beds were hard.

I accidentally booked smoking room instead of nonsmoking through Booking.com. I honestly don’t know how I managed to do it but anyway, I asked the owner if I could get a nonsmoking room. They told me yes, at $40 more dollars. I was fine until I walked into my in-laws room #2 which was identical to ours #14 and both are nonsmoking King bed. I asked the owners why my in-laws room was $99 and mine was $140? The wife was very rude and told me she should’ve never allowed us to switch rooms as requested (and paid for I might add) just for questioning the price difference. Horrible customer service and very rude!! Room is old and definitely not worth $140 for one night. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Very biker friendly and super attentive to our needs. Large rooms, nice T.V., generous continental breakfast. Close to Wheels Through Time. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Room was very clean. No frills motel that is a bit dated but convenient. Loud road noise to be expected. Reasons why I rated the motel a 3 is for two reasons. First, the beds are ROCK HARD. Now I was in the military and have slept on hard beds before but these are the hardest I’ve slept on since then. Both my wife and I had a really hard time sleeping. Second, the bathroom. When showering the water kept going from hot to cold and back. But the worst thing was that my wife flushed the toilet while I was showering and the shower went to FULL HOT while the tank was refilling. Very dangerous situation. I would probably look elsewhere if staying in the area.

A lovely little family owned motel with clean rooms and very, very biker friendly. Great location, came for two nights and ended up staying for a week. The road is only busy until about 9pm and then its very quiet. Rocking chairs outside the rooms are a nice touch, as is the clean rag, put out every night to wipe down your bike in the morning. Will definitely be back.
