La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Manassas Battlefield

I want to thank the front desk staff for outstanding customer service, once arriving in town for a funeral I was quite exhausted from the long travel that being said checking in was relatively smooth I get to the assigned room once entering the room I was immediately hit with a very strong musty smell. I reported it the staff and was immediately moved to a better room with no smell I want to say the staff works really hard to accommodate the guests and they keep the place clean which is very important due to the property being a bit older. O would recommend if you ever have to go to Manassas VA. I would have given 5 star's of it wasn't for that danky first room.

The most horrible La Quinta I stayed in. Room was spacious but that was about it. King bed wasn’t really a king. Comforter old , dirty.Old bathroom with paint coming off. Bathtub was so old and looked dirty with brown stains. Breakfast is a joke. They shouldn’t mention that it’s a continental breakfast. Some sad looking muffins ( didn’t look fresh), some cereals and coffee. When my four year old entered the breakfast area his question was “ where is the food”? Receptionist who checked us in was very well mannered and provided good service. Restaurants in 5 minute driving distance

Not a great hotel at all. Location is good for what we were needing last minute and the front desk associate was really sweet. Other than that the hotel needs serious upgrades. The room wasn’t very clean, carpet was torn, mold on wallpaper, small beds for being queens, there was also a room down the hall that had a unsafe for entrance sign and was barricaded off which was a bit unsettling. The “market” was a joke, couple bags of chips and water bottles. They really need to upgrade this place or tear it down. Won’t stay here again.

Positive: Very quiet and the best shower pressure I have ever had at a hotel. Very clean, those ladies work hard to keep that hotel clean. Room was nice and bed was comfy. Negative: Bathroom smelled like mildew. You could tell the bathroom didnt have proper ventilation and there was some mildew or mold growing on a spot on the wall in the bathroom. Made sense with the poor ventilation in there. Landscaping needs to be kept up better.

Breakfast was non existent. Came down at 9:30 on a Saturday in which it says breakfast goes till 10. There was nothing but waffles to be made. The rest was packed up already. The wait staff were not friendly when asked about if more food was coming out. ||The front desk when booking the hotel was not friendly. They checked us in, gave us the card and on our way. Didn’t say anything about the pool, the bar, breakfast etc. ||It looks like this could be a really nice hotel but the workers don’t want to be here
