La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham El Paso East

I checked in after 9:00 p.m. And the person on staff was a delightful helpful professional Afro-American woman that it pains me I cannot remember her name. As said in other reviews this is a dated location. It could use some upgrades, certainly some maintenance here and there but while being a budget stay it is also a VALUE stay, because the staff is very concerned and very helpful about you having a good day. The breakfast buffet what's basic, but ample, and clean and well attended. So despite needing a little TLC for the price point this is an excellent stay and I would recommend it. For one thing it's close to the airport and just about everything else is within arm's reach and it is actually surrounded by places to eat. And my personal Benchmark for a good hotel.... It had at least one

The room was nice and up to date with furniture and decor. It had a larger mini frig, micro wave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. It had a walk-in shower. It did lack a closet. The room and the hotel facility were clean and had nice decor. It offered a lot of amenities. The only thing that was distracting was an area in the hallway on the first floor that had missing and broken tiles that was covered by a rug. It looked like it had been in that condition for a while. The breakfast was standard, but good and offered plenty of choices.

First time staying here was great. Gentleman at front desk was kind and fast with the check in process. One of the beds creaked and the AC squeaked when it kicked on, sounding like the room door was opening. Breakfast was lacking a bit with not many options. Chose to stay again, during our return trip, because we were overall happy. Second stay, front desk staff was not efficient, waited in line to check in for 25 minutes as she visited with the group ahead of us. Room appeared clean, bathroom had some mold but this hotel served its purpose- giving us a place to shower and sleep for a great price!

Positive: Booked a room with view. Room was cleaned daily unlike motel I was at the night before . Negative: Breakfast could of been better

This property is clean and comfortable but is starting to show wear and tear - in the rooms and hallway/lobby. The bed made a mouse each time I tissed and turned. But, overall still clean and comfortable. My boy loved the breakfast options there.
