TownePlace Suites by Marriott El Paso East/I-10

Christmas time brings a return to 915 and this hotel. We've used it in the past but this time we had a purring variable as we traveled with the family feline. The hotel is located next to I-10 frontage road so make sure you follow the GPS directions. The hotel has limited car slots and its located next to an abandoned bank which is being renovated or demolished. Since we had Sylvester with us, I believe we had an animal friendly room since Cujo staying next to us. As you enter the kitchen is on the right and you enter the main room with two beds. The room has an awkwardly mounted TV next to the restroom. The restroom had 2 small bars of soap on the sink and three bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash. We stayed here for four nights - never again. Half a block from an outdoor concert venue (which is not explained in the hotel details) - forget about sleeping and be ready for concert goers to be collecting outside at all hours. Elevators sound like they are coming apart. Woefully under staffed housekeeping - could not change the soiled sheets we found at check in for eight hours - when we returned to our room and discovered nothing had been done I reached out to hotel management who finally sent an overworked housekeeping person up to clean the room after I complained. A bag of trash remained outside the elevators on the fourth floor for three days. The elevators themselves had not been cleaned - evidenced by the spent tissues that were left on the floor for days. Stayed here for one week as I transitioned to Fort Bliss. I was immediately impressed by the customer service and kindness of all the staff. The rooms are clean and the gym has everything you need to get a good hotel workout in. Great location and great breakfast also, you really get your money worth. Again, a wonderful & friendly staff.

After a long day of driving, we decided to stop here for the night. The reviews were good and the place looked nice upon check in. When we got to the room, we pulled the bed down to check it (as we always do) and a bed bugs crawled quickly away!! We pulled the fitted sheet down and GROSS! We quickly grabbed our things and left.

Comfortable place to stay for all the family, I recommend it. This is the first best place for breakfast I am very delighted which is not very common. Hour's (7-10am which makes sense to me) top notch breakfast, hot out of oven & and a great variety menu! Will definitely come back. To the kitchen manager thank you for real food, stay locked in.
