La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Danbury

Still here for another week but so far pleasant. Pros: The hotel is centrally located to everywhere we needed to be and there is convenient grocery stores just a couple minutes away. The daily breakfast is exceptional with many choices and the coffee was great!. The breakfast area/lobby is very nice. It looks like they are planning upgrades to the lobby and rooms so it should be an even better experience next time if we travel this way. Vans, the attached restaurant, is great for a quick bite without having to leave the grounds. They open at 4pm so plan ahead no lunch options available at the hotel unless you order Doordash, etc.. We had to unexpectedly stay overnight in Danbury, CT so chose the La Quinta because it was easily accessible from the freeway and had a Walmart close by. ||The lady at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. We even were able to have a bottle of wine opened at the restaurant (attached and family friendly) and real glasses, which was a total bonus!!||There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area which made it a real gem even though our stay was unplanned. The rooms are clean and the place was quiet. I am a light sleeper and slept very soundly all night, which I really appreciate! If I am ever in the area, I will stay at this LaQuinta again!

Positive: The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed for the price. They have great Internet & the staff is always helpful & fast at checkin or with any requests. I've stayed there many times on business & never had a bad experience.. Negative: It's a bit expensive at times for its rating but that's the same with all hotels dealing with supply & demand.

Recommend this La Quinta to everyone! The rooms are always clean, with comfortable beds, a great workspace, a refrigerator, and a microwave. They also have a restaurant next door, Vans. 🍕 I stayed here a while, and the cool, friendly staff never disappointed! They were always helpful and ready to make accommodations available for me. The sweetesttt! Thank you so much Senka, Kaila, Rochelle, Jason, and others at the front desk, I forgot their names. Also, the housekeeping team are so nice! ✨

Great overall experience. The hotel is a bit dated but they are in the process of remodeling so that should help. The staff was excellent. I checked in hours before check in time and they got me a room right away. Lobby was very welcoming and rooms were spacious and clean. |Plus they have an EV charger (with free charging) which is a huge plus for me. |A+ all around!
