Hilton Garden Inn Danbury

Just stayed here, staff were amazing. Thanks to Terrance for taking care of me and getting a night refunded for booking a wrong date. The staff at night when I arrived to find out I missed my reservation was very accommodating. Clean rooms, great service! Thanks again 🙂

We were in transit from Martha's Vineyard to Virginia and stopped for an overnight stay in Danbury. Among the hotel choices in the area, room rates varied from $250 to $350 per night. We chose the Hilton Garden Inn for its rate of $276. Check-in was straightforward, and the desk staff were cordial and helpful. We were assigned a first floor room very near the elevator and hotel lobby. The room was well-appointed: the mattress was firm and very comfortable; a large screen LCD TV, a small microwave, a small refrigerator were available to us. As we settled into the room for the night, it quickly became apparent that soundproofing was substantially subpar. We heard and understood the conversations of the occupants in the adjacent rooms. Had a two night stay here. Very pleased with the front desk, housekeeping and general staff. Above and beyond without hovering. The ladies are great, super inviting, and personable. I would say to remind customers that there is a working kitchen and perhaps provide menus. The room was very comfortable with an easy to use thermostat (no funky smells) and a plush bed. Only drawback was the super tiny gym space. Great overall!!

Positive: Clean, friendly Negative: On site it said ?free? breakfast. Lobby had a breakfast set up just like other free breakfasts. They were charging $13 a person. Very embarrassing!!

Absolutely disappointing… I was going to grab some chocolate chips for the hot cocoa but once my boyfriend and I went downstairs it was gone. Worst of all, we got booked in a room that has two beds when we wanted a one big bed for my boyfriend and I to sleep. Worst of all, my boyfriend had a heartburn and the woman from the front desk was going to make me go downstairs to get him an aspirin. However they brought upstairs food for someone else. Disgraceful!! Worst of all, we were gonna go to the pool, however there too many people partying hard, acting wild and a couple trying to make out in the pool. I’m absolutely furious with the service. Absolutely furious!!
