La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Coralville Iowa City

The people who work in the mornings are extremly rude. The moment I left my door for breakfast they asked if I was checking out. There was a male staff member lurking in the halls while a female staff member was cleaning he was literally picking his nose in front of me. I later understood where the booger on my night stand had probably come from. This place seems nice ar first until you pay closer attention to detail. Its cheaper than the rest for a reason. I would give this place zero stars if I could

My daughter is a freshman at U Iowa and I have been here MANY times. This is my go-to hotel. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I have not had the breakfast (i don't get up that early :), but I am sure it is amazing. I would highly recommend.

Hotel is ok a little expensive, they dont take cash and require 75 dollar deposit. The rooms were not super clean. My daughter dropped her squishy toy and it rolled under the side table, i should have just left it. Broken hairties, old fake fingernails, and 2 inches of dust and dirt. The "desk table" had sticky stuff all over it looked like they didnt spray it before they wiped it down. We found a 1/16th inch drill bit in one of the beds. Breakfast is not that great, waffles, cereal, pale bland diced potatoes looked cooked in the microwave, sausages were sweaty and sticky, funky looking "scrambled eggs". They have a concession area, if you want some 8 dollar cup of noodle, or a 4 dollar regular size candy bar. I will be staying somewhere else next time we have a procedure at the hospital.

5 star stay! Property is located in a great spot, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, modern, and large. Breakfast in the morning was a good spread and tasted good! Check in and check out was a breeze. Waterfall showerhead is a cool difference maker. Only positive things to say!
