Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center

Positive: The hotel was close to the location we were going, easy check-in and concierge was very pleasant man. Negative: There was no free breakfast, lunch or drink offers like the other hotels that were within walking distance. Only free bottle water.

NOT LIKE OTHER HYATT REGENCY I wanted to try another location for my trip to Coralville. I've stayed at quite a few Hyatt Regency properties. Most are in need of repair or "undergoing renovation." This Regency is really incredible. Thomas or Muhammad seem to be the better communicators. This property is above and beyond ANY Regency I've been to.

This Hyatt property in Iowa City is top tier! It is beautifully maintained and has a pleasing and lovely ambiance as soon as you walk in. I was met at the door by a bellhop who made sure the gentleman at the check in was aware I had come in. I had been at the University Hospital all day and was bone tired. I was impressed with the level of empathy and kindness offered at check in. My room was aesthetically pleasing, clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The storage areas were more than ample and the ambient lighting throughout the room made it very inviting. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Wow what an impressive hotel! Comfortable beds, fast elevators, legit Starbucks in lobby, well equipped and spacious gym. The large pool and jacuzzi area has an adjoining “parents lounge” where you can watch the kids swim while not being splashed and where it’s relatively quiet - genius! The hotel is within a short walk to numerous quality restaurants, the xtreme events arena, and other shopping. We typically stay with Marriott brands, but this Hyatt price was very competitive when we visited, so I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else while in the area.

This was the perfect stay for a girls weekend. Friendly staff, a great view of the river. Room service and breakfast from the Watermill were excellent, and the conplimentary Starbucks drink is always appreciated. The pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed for a break from the winter blahs!
