Comfort Suites Coralville I-80

Lots of space for the price at this hotel. The pool was big and warm and the hot tub was actually really hot! I couldn't get the internet to connect, the tv channels were quite limited, and I was vascillating between too cold and too hot all night due to the a/c blowing right on the bed and being too small for the room, so it was constantly on. But, if that sort of thing doesn't bother you, the beds were really comfy, the location was extra convenient for the coralville strip, and the staff takes good care of the place to keep it really clean and tended to. So, a perfectly good hotel and quite nice for the price point, but it won't be for everybody.

The room is always so nice. The staff is kind, thoughtful and informative. I always stay at comfort inn when I need a hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning and great surprise dinners. The pool and hot tub is always so nice. And the water is always nice and hot when I take a bath or shower. And I don't know how they do it, but even when they are super busy and crowded it's always quiet and peaceful in my room and they always have everything under control. I've never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome at Comfort Inn. Thank you so much!

I stay here 3-4 nights a week for construction. Amazing staff! Treat you like family! Pool n hot tub are awesome! They cook their guests a home cooked supper twice a week. the only place I’ll stay near Iowa city!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2026 when our son had surgery. Upon entering we were greated and check in went very smooth, we went to our room that was immaculate, clean, comfortable and spacious, our room had a couch and 2 queen beds. After my sons surgery we came back to a home cooked meal that was amazing. I thought I had packed everything we could possibly need but evidently not enough first aid supplies for after surgery. I went to the front desk and asked where the closest pharmacy was that was still open. I explained I needed first aid supplies and the ladyies at the desk went above and beyond finding the supplies right at the hotel so I did not have to leave my son. We had a great experience here. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious and we had plenty of room for our toddlers toys and pack n play. The pool temp was a bit chilly for my toddler but otherwise it’s a great size pool. The hot tub was great. Our tv was broken upon arrival but they replaced it right away. We would definitely come stay again!
