La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Stockbridge

We had a nice stay at LaQuinta Stockbridge. Sophia at the front desk was great! We were fortunate to walk in and get a room. Our room was clean - the bed was comfortable, area was large, had fridge and microwave. Walked on the treadmill in the fitness room although not much else in there. The breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, bacon, etc. the hotel worked for overnight stay while travelling south

Had a great over night stay , clean room, a lot restaurants in the area to choose from. We were welcomed at the desk by Andrea who took great care of us. She really seems to enjoy her job and provides great customer service . We had a great time visiting with Andrea, we will be back

Beautiful hotel, but our experience took a turn… The hotel itself is beautiful — clean lobby, updated décor, and our room looked very nice. However, our experience took a turn that made us leave much earlier than planned. We had reserved a king room, but were given a two-queen at check-in. Not ideal, but we were willing to overlook it because the room was otherwise great. The real issue was the roaches. First, I almost stepped on a very large roach outside the building while heading to my car. I tried to ignore it since it was outdoors, but at around 6 AM, our 7-year-old woke us up because there was a roach crawling on the wall above the couch inside our room. At that point, we packed up and left the hotel immediately. We were out by 7 AM because we no longer felt comfortable staying.

It was bad as soon as I arrived. I made my reservation months in advance. I get there 20 minutes after check in and I'm told I don't have a reservation. I showed the girl at the desk my booking.com app that showed I in fact had a reservation. She tells me it must have been cancelled. Well, I'm here and I certainly didn't cancel it. She tells me "someone probably called to confirm and you didn't answer so it was probably cancelled". I received no phone call. So I had to rebook my reservation for more than I originally was charged. I asked what would happen with the other reservation because I didn't want to pay a cancellation fee. She told me not to worry about it. I get into my room and it's fine until 5am when i realize they put me in the room next to the kitchen so all I hear for the nex

Positive: No complaints. Room was comfortable and within my budget. Could not have beat it for the money that I paid. Negative: The lighting could have been better.
