La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cocoa Beach-Port Canaveral

Stayed 1 night for cruise the next day. We went with 2 families and both rooms were good. Very happy with the stay. Clean, good breakfast. They have shuttle to the port, and also private taxis. We used the private taxi, who took us to the port, but we also arranged for them to pick us up after our cruise. Last minute however, that driver bailed. That said, cruise terminal has lots of options, but still not very responsible.

The hotel front desk staff was friendly but that is where the positives end. The room was dirty and outdated. We could smell sewage in the bathroom and could not bring ourselves to shower. The floor was so dirty I could feel a greasy grime and couldnt stand to be without shoes. The tables were all scratched up. There were teens / young adults walking in circles all night horseplaying loudly that kept waking us up. We were only here for a 1 night stay before boarding our cruise and were glad to leave the next morning. I would not recommend.

Positive: Some very friendly front desk staff, clean well-kept property, clean comfortable rooms. Negative: Some am front desk staff seemed annoyed they needed to tend to a request (tongs for bagels had fallen on the ground and were requested be replaced). The door jam needed updating on the insulation. There was a large open gap and bugs were getting in.

Staying at this hotel was, without question, the worst experience I’ve had in the past five years of traveling. From the moment we entered the room, the problems were impossible to ignore—the flooring was peeling up and coming apart, and the shower was so filthy that we refused to use it. We didn’t even feel comfortable taking off our shoes inside. Thankfully, our stay lasted only one night; if it had been longer, we would have immediately found somewhere else to go. To make matters worse, I was charged more than the amount shown on my confirmation. The package I booked included 8 days of parking and a shuttle for two to and from Port Canaveral. While the shuttle to the port was fine, the return was a nightmare. I called repeatedly, only to hear a recorded message that the number was not

The lady at the front desk was super nice but thats where the good ends. The room was disgusting. The floor was so dirty. The heater n our room did not work. The blanket they brought us smelled so bed so we just froze all night. The tv did not work. The shower curtain had black spots all over it. Will never stay at another LaQuinta again!!!! If could give this zero stars I would. I work for reviews so I know how important they are and I do not leaving a bad review but this place has it coming.
