La Luna Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We had an amazing stay at La Luna Inn! The price was great, the location was perfect, and the service was excellent from start to finish. On top of that, they offer free parking in San Francisco! No one can beat that! The only downside is that you can hear some cars at nighttime, but that’s obviously out of their control. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I booked 3 rooms at La Luna Inn for 4 nights and deeply regret not only staying here, but also recommending it to a friend who booked 2 additional rooms. The only positive about this hotel is the location. Everything else was a nightmare.||From night one, sleep was impossible. The walls and doors are paper-thin, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and the street. One group next door was extremely intoxicated and sang karaoke until 5 AM. Each time they opened their door, it sounded like they were entering my room. I was woken up constantly and felt unsafe.||At 3 AM, I called the front desk and told them I didn’t feel safe and needed help with the noise. The staff knocked on their door, and because of how thin the walls are, I opened mine thinking it was him knocking on me. H

Wonderful Stay at La Luna Hotel! We had an excellent experience at La Luna Hotel. The front desk staff, especially Paul, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is in a perfect location — close to everything — and the free parking was a huge bonus. Everything was spotless, beautifully updated, and very comfortable. The value for the price is outstanding. Highly recommend! Of course is not a fancy place but great for the price

Booked hotel for one night as my wife had Dr. appt the next morning. Figured it was close and advertisements looked good. Well the room looked nothing like advertised. Ants in the bathroom and bedroom. Door Key system was down and never got a door key. We put the desk in front of door for safety. A slab of steel was softer than the bed. They ran tv cable on floor, around bathroom door frame back to ground then up to a tv. Toilet was about 1 foot from sink. Had to be careful not to jab your hip or hit your head. This hotel is not worth the price paid. 59.99 should be the going price for this place. Wont stay again as the room felt like something out of a horror movie.

I mean, you get what you pay for I guess. Room was incredibly bare minimum. Bed was insanely uncomfy, every time my husband and I rolled over during the night it was super loud. The area is also loud and walls are pretty thin. Other than that, I'd consider it to be in a decent location for the cost and it's within walking distance of The Palace of Fine Arts which is why we stayed here for an event we went to. Other than that, the free parking was a plus for us.
