La Casa Motel Garden Grove

Only one stars cause theres no 2nd floor to this hotel. We tried to check in and the power was out. Came back later and was working. The male manager walks around the parking lot all night telling people to park and turn down their music. One of cars got keyed and he said cameras aren't working and he saw nothing.

The room was filthy. It looked like they had never swept or mopped before ever, bathtub had dirt and cockroaches all inside it. The beds had holes in the bedding and dirt there were baby cockroaches calling around everywhere. I could not walk in there barefoot because I felt everything underneath my feet. I got so grossed out that I got their towels and started cleaning the floor. I could not sleep because the blankets were itchy and dirty, and just grossed me out.

Do not expect thrills like washcloths for hand towels or even a second towel. Also two pillows that are very flat are provided, but no more. I froze to death and wanted to ask them if they had a blanket, but they were closed. Just know what you're getting when you go for this cheap rate.

Positive: Close proximity to stores and bus routes. Negative: Garbage left in drawers, half full beer left in refrigerator, mold in the shower, roaches in the room, broken window in the bathroom and the bed was so uncomfortable with only the tattered bed spread and flat pillows. This place is horrid

I booked on priceline, took my money as it was "non refundable", got to motel, then the Indian owner slapped me with a $40 cash only deposit. tried to explain I paid with debit card, they already took my money, and I have no more money except on my credit card, he refused to take a credit or debit card for the $40 deposit and he refused to waive it. I double checked and on their website and on priceline there is NOTHING that states there is a required cash only deposit. There was only two other cars there when checking in at 7pm on a Friday.. Extremely Shady, Very Unprofessional, barely speaks any english.. In all of my years I have NEVER had an issue like this. I had to sleep in my car that night because they took my money, and I had to wait almost a week for the refund. I hope this disg
