Benny, the manager checked us in and he was super kind and helpful. He even let us check in a little early as we had bags in the car. We booked right on the spot and we were very happy with the room. Benny even showed us around which room we might prefer. For the price, and the location, you can’t beat it. The rooms were remodeled and very clean. Next time I would bring my own pillow as they weren’t the most comfortable. Other than that, AMAZING location! Super close to all the bus stops and since it’s right off two main streets; Lombard and Venn Ness. We loved that we could just drop off our car and explore the city via public transport instead of relying on sketchy public parking garages. The hotel is very clean along with the rooms. The staff is awesome. However, when the breakfast bar is shut down, you can't get simple things like napkins and plastic utensils a s you know, when you request these things from doordash, you don't always get them! They need to make these available to guests as every other hotel does.

Excellent location, complimentary parking, and great value overall! The Good - The location of the hotel is excellent. We could just ride the MUNI public transportation from right outside the hotel. The hotel also provides complimentary parking on site and off site. That was of excellent value! The manager, Benny, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Scope for improvements - We staying in the two-queens room. The room was good and included all the basic necessities; however, a little more space in the room would have been helpful. The bathroom was a little too cramped.

I am writing this review regarding a reservation that ultimately was not honored due to the way the front desk team handled the situation. We had a booking with free cancellation on Booking.com for 2 rooms and 3 nights in November 2025, made many months in advance. Due to a change in our travel plans, we needed to stay only 2 nights instead of 3. Since we were still within the free cancellation/modification period, we tried to modify the reservation through Booking.com. Surprisingly, even though cancellation and modifications were free, the system showed the selected dates as unavailable — which makes no sense, as we were staying one night less within the same period.
