Kalika Hotel Niagara Falls Downtown NY

100% honesty here. This is one of the best motels you can stay at in probably the most positively bustling area in Niagara Falls, especially tourism-wise. And the staff CARES, this is not your run of the mill type of deal. There's class and genuine humility at the SAME time throughout this place and peoples, which is undoubtedly rare. Plus, housekeeping/rooms/etc are great! 🙌🏿 Online says they had a rough past, yeah, but Ill go on the record to say they stepped it UP. 😤 Kalika gets a solid 4.5 ⭐️ from me but Google only let me pick 4. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Positive: Nothing really Negative: We were given rooms in the basement and they were stinking. Carpet and all looked very very dirty. The iron was barely turning on. The door locks on the bathroom not working and staff not ready to help with that. Breakfast was so cheap quality.

Overall it's a good stay. 16 mins walk to the falls, in winter we had 0 issues with parking. The only thing that bothered is a thin walls. We were unlucky to get get noisy neighbors for half of night. And it's not that they were loud, just talking loudly and we can hear all that

I ended up booking last minute for a night out up at seneca. I could of stayed at a couple other hotels but this was the cheapest so I decided what the heck. Next time I'm going to pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. When I checked in the TV only had like a few channels working. No hot water at all. I had to take a cold shower. If you're looking for cheap then this is the place for you. Probably won't stay here again unless they get better.

Great location - right at the entrance to national park, right next to Marriott. Rooms were also quite spacious and clean as well. Frankly, I wasn’t expecting it to be good, considering few extreme reviews online, but on the contrary, staff was super polite and friendly. We reached early, so early checkin was not possible, but we got complementary breakfast. We booked king bed room, it was quite spacious.Overall, great place, especially considering the price, which is a fraction of next door mariott.
