Just Show Up Campground

Love, love, love this place. Came in Sunday night super late and Mike was awesome. Hooked us up with a spot and made sure we had our fire started and all set. The next morning we went across the street to check out the beach sites. Amazing! We came back and stayed on the beach 3 days later before heading home. What an amazing spot. We may stay another night. 🥰💕

It was super last minute when we found this campsite and I'm so glad we did. We booked the Beach #2 site right on the water.. it was the most beautiful view.

Gus for the price and you do know upper michigan is one of the most beautiful untouched least populated placed in the United States. Top largest freshwater lakes in the world!! There no other place like northern michigan in the world!! Omg you had to walk across the to shower?! You don’t belong in the UP then!

Booked a site on line, good pricing for sure. My thing is not a lot of sites so less ppl and noise. First let me say, unless you are sent the video, you'll be lost on what to do as we were. No host to greet you like website says. Lighted path to your site, but lights don't work so avoiding the tree stumps were difficult. Our site had tree stumps everywhere. We have a 4 man tent so most of our tent had stumps sticking up. 2 man tent would have fit great. You can hear the traffic from the highway but wasn't that bad. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. I would recommend but with a warning. Bug spray is a MUST!

We were in contact with the owner and were misled by our expectations. The place is very run down and comes across very poorly.
