Stayed in cabin 8 for this years anniversary weekend. Cozy, beautiful, timeless cabin in the woods. Kitchen is well equipped with what you need for the everyday. Charcoal grill and grilling tools provided. Bring your own charcoal. Fire pit and fire wood provided. For dryer wood if needed, there is a covered wood crib located by cabin 6. For rainy days, there is a tv and DVD selection (dvd capability only, no tv service), games, books, drawing pad and colored pencils.|Small beach access across the road. Trails through the woods to a lake. You don’t even need to leave the resort! Amazingly peaceful retreat very near St Ignace with wonderful host (Patty) who is easy to get a hold of and quick to respond via text/call.

The ultimate place for a nice UP get away. Cabins are rustic and just perfect, Moran Bay just across the street with very gradual depth change, perfect for children, trails, playground, local attractions, and many others within a one hour drive. We've stayed here 12 out of the past 22 years, it's a family friendly experience. We'll be back I'm sure. Do yourself a favor and give one of these cabins a try.

Love this place! Not saying our preferred cabin # because we dont want it sold out!! Rustic. Quiet. Beautiful. If you are a complaining hotel guest, don't come here. This is cabin life.

We stayed in cabin 6 and the owner is a delight to deal with. She was very agreeable to our uncertainty if we would be bringing our dog. This is a very pet friendly place! I loved the serene and peaceful setting and it made you want to just stay and not do any sightseeing. The view of Lake Michigan across the road is a plus too. Beach access too! You can’t see it from cabin 6 but we are next to a river. St Ignace is close enough to do food or shopping. These rustic cabins in the woods make you feel like you have gone back in time. I wish we weren’t going places so much as I would just love to sit outside and savor the moment. I hope we can stay again. A wonderful experience in our cozy and clean cabin!
