Grande Retreat

What an amazing boat experience my husband and I had at The Grande Retreat, in St.Ignace, MI! We are from Downtown Detroit/Ann Arbor area. We booked a hotel room at the Iroquois Hotel on Mackinac Island. We missed the last ferry and decided to call around and Andy was the first to call back as soon as he got our call. He was so generous to help and friendly. He was able to hook us up to get back on the Island on a private boat ride on time to view a beautiful sunset with the site of the moon! Thanks Andy once again we really appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts! Chris and his daughter was a pleasant company to have as well! Much love from Detroit/Ann Arbor. Great camping experience. Management was very kind and helpful. Best yet was all the mushrooms we found on the property! Also other edibles like juniper. Stones throw away from the water :)

Great experience. Owner is super friendly. Came up with a few friends to spend the weekend. We camped and went to the beach and just had an all around great time.

Beautiful campground, and outstanding hospitality from the camp host. I have stayed here every time I've traveled to the U.P. and loved every minute of of it.

Great place, Easy Owner to get along with,pull up anytime he will set you up no worries.We took are 5 kids dog and Fifthwheel there
