JLL Extended Stay Inn

Horrible, they illegally charge for service animals AND illegally charge a cleaning fee for a APT. Cleaning fees are ILLEGAL IN IOWA!! You are only allowed to take what you can provide a receipt for. Because of those other 2 things I bet they don't secure your deposit in a dedicated account for security deposits. I'm sure they spend the money and just pay you back. ILLEGAL!! I had to threaten to sue to get my full deposit back. Ridiculous!

I moved in thinking a month or 2 max.JLL is very quiet, doors are pass key secure ,Balcony to sit on, patio view from the room.Cable tv ,attentive Front Desk house keeping and Maintenance. On University Ave great to/from waterloo Cedar Falls.Close to UNI while also close to John Deere Plant(s) for contractors while also close to Waterloo Convention Center Events and Young Arena

They will try to keep your deposit. There is a lady at the front desk who seems to hate everyone or maybe just ? people. I have been nothing but nice, overly polite, and she seems to hate my smile? The employees must keep the deposit. Why else would they make it so difficult to get it back? Like a forced tip for horrible service or under compensation?

This is my favorite hotel for short-term and long-term visits in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. Stayed in 2023 and 2024. Clean Quiet Affordable ~ Prices are competitive and cheaper than other hotels. For long term guests, they have discounts for weekly and monthly stays. I've stayed in other hotels and JLL's rates are the best in town. ~ Ideally situated close to UNI. The hotel is located on University Ave, so you're next to all the businesses, restaurants, and shopping options. 7-minute drive to the options on Viking Road/Ave of the Saints area and about 15-minute drive to the shopping hub on San Marnan Drive and La Porte Road. ~ The exterior is older, but many of the interior rooms (including the one I stayed in) have been recently remodeled. They also have spacious studios available

I love it there. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Maintenance came same day and fixed any issue we had, with a smile! Also, extremely affordable and rooms are comfy and cozy. Rooms have air and cable and full bathrooms. Loved it! Best stay in town so far.
