Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cedar Falls near University

I was nervous about booking as so many mixed reviews. The guy at the front desk super nice and helpful. We talked to the maintenance guy Mark and he was working hard every time we seen him cleaning non stop. The kids had a blast in the pool and hot tub. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. WE have stayed at this location several times and always feel that that hotel is clean and managed well. The front desk personnel have always been exceptionally helpful to us. They try to get us on main floor close to the entrance which is very important for us because my husband walks with two braces and has difficulty walking. This is so helpful to him to be closer to the door, breakfast area or front desk.

Great hotel. Room was very clean. The gentleman at front desk was friendly and they even message me to let me know to reach out if I needed anything. It was quite inside and out of the hotel. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and quiet as well. Here for work and will be back.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. There was a sign instructing to pick up the phone, wait, five seconds, and then the clerk comes out from the back room. During our entire stay, we never once saw anyone standing at the front |desk.|The room is basic, and I would not describe it as clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor, and the shower is dirty, with stains on the floor and tub. |Housekeeping is only offered once every three days, but we did request to have daily housekeeping,|Breakfast was disgusting. There was a bowl with apples and oranges, all of which were rotten, including visible mold on one of the oranges. There was an assortment of bagels and muffins, and the bagels were rock, hard, not frozen, just completely stale, as well as the muffins. The entire serving

Photos on website are very deceiving. Breakfast is terrible. Small gym with outdated and broken equipment. Funky smell. Our room has no carpet or rugs which makes a huge mess in the winter. Says smoke free but our hallway smelled like smoke. Very dark and dingy. Overall would not recommend.
