Inn of the Dove at Bensalem-Jacuzzi & Fireplace Suites

Stayed there this weekend with my boyfriend. We had the “Deluxe Romantic Suite,” since unfortunately the theme rooms were booked. It was…fine. The fireplace and the jacuzzi are really the only notable features, otherwise it was just a really big mediocre hotel room. The king sized bed had four very flat standard size pillows and we actually had to go buy a more comfortable one for our second night. As big as the room was, there was really no where to put our things besides two very dated armchairs and a shabby side table (a loveseat by the fireplace would have been nice, just as a suggestion, as would a desk or dresser). The bathroom was also very dated; the wood shelves under the sink were peeling and the shower heads were very basic and didn’t give much water pressure. There were also no

Positive: I've been to another location and wasn't happy. So was a little skeptical about this location. However it FAIR exceeded expectations. The rooms are really nice and clean. It turned into a great night. Would definitely recommend staying here. Negative: ""

Last night (June 28,2025) my partner brought me to Inn of the Dove for my birthday. For the most part, we had a nice time. We had some minor issues, most of which had to do with "housekeeping". We did find a few multi-legged friends in the room (mainly just spiders and gnats-thankfully not the bed bug kind of bugs) The table by the fireplace was sticky and not cleaned off when we got there. The shower drain was a little clogged as the water wasn't draining. The refrigerator in the room did not work properly and the vents in the air conditioning unit were so filthy, my partner had to clean them off so we weren't breathing in the dust. Basically, Housekeeping has to do a better job. But other than that, we had a very nice night. Would still come again.

My partner and I have stayed at Inn of the Dove four times since last June, and it’s become our favorite romantic escape. We love using it as a quiet retreat to unwind away from the world and family life. The themed rooms are such a fun touch—so far, our favorite has been the Blue Ocean room, but next on our list is the Cave! We especially enjoy the in-room jacuzzi and the fireplace during the colder months. Our December stay was magical—we woke up to a winter wonderland right outside our window. The location is peaceful and secluded, perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. We will definitely be back again and can’t wait to try every themed room! —we always look forward to coming back and hope there’s a little something for loyal guests!😉

Very accommodating for our last minute reservation for our honeymoon. Staff was very nice and we will definitely return! Room is very clean, Fresh sheets, disco lights in the pool are awesome. And it was tempting to extend our stay! ( We decorated our self and made sure to follow and clean room rules.) Worth every penny! And very reasonable price for the large space and full amenities.
