Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Bensalem

Had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard Philadelphia Bensalem. The rooms are notably nice and clean, and I absolutely loved the convenience of the keyless entry and self-check-in—it made arrival a breeze. The room features a modern open-shower design; while the water pressure and temperature were great, the lack of a door or curtain made the bathroom area feel a bit chilly during showers. My only real suggestions for improvement would be the dining options: the breakfast menu felt a bit limited, and the bar area could use a bit more atmosphere/service. Overall, a solid, modern choice for the area!

First impression upon arrival we had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke as they allow smokng right at the front entrance. No ashtray so cigarette butts everywhere. We were greeted with "checking in", not welcome to our hotel or anything. The front desk person was nnot very friendly and you could tell she did not like her job. During our stay a storm shut down the computers for check in and she was cussing it right in front of customers. The hotel is tired and not maintained well. The office type roolling chair in our room was replaced with a standard confernce room type chair. We asked the maid if we could get a rollinng chair and she took one from another room and gave it to us. We were not made aware that the jacuzzi and swimming pool were shutdown unti we inquired. We

The Marriott Courtyard at Bensalem Pennsylvania meets the high and consistent standard I've enjoyed with this brand. The staff is friendly and responsive. The rooms are updated with a modern and smart layout that addresses all needs for a basic stay. A refrigerator, microwave, and coffee service are provided. The rooms are extremely clean except in the corners and baseboards where their vacuums don't reach. Suggest using an Oreck XL or equivalent once in a while!||My only issue with my stay was the $9.95 parking fee per day, regardless if you have a car or not. This is an uncontrolled, open lot in suburbia, not center city. The fee is hidden and not disclosed prior to booking. The Marriott site makes the charge obscure in the follow-on confirmation. Staff were all very nice. The restaurant/bar area was open late so we were able to get snacks before going out. King size bed rooms were big. The outlets/usb ports on the dressers need replaced, plug wouldn't stay in and the USB port was missing a piece. The bathroom was a good size, very clean. 100% would stay at this location again!

We were here for my birthday and to see a show at Parx. It was a nice clean and close location. The indoor pool and spa was a welcome surprise when we had it to ourselves. The room was clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. This will be my go to place to stay when we come back to the area.
